Event Spotlight: Reggae Cafe ft. Black Chiney

No plans? Looking for something to do this weekend? Well you are in for a treat! This weekend the legendary  DJ team, Black Chiney will be in Toronto alongside a myriad of talented, local DJ’s at tonight’s Reggae Cafe. Black Chiney originally hails from Jamaica, and are based in Miami, Florida. Made up of founding member Supa Dups and Billy Chin, Willy Chin and Walshy Killa – the group has risen to prominence after putting in many years in the trenches. Know for a few popular riddims such as the Higher Octane Riddim and the Drumline/Timeline Riddim – the group has played all over the world and have become known as ambassadors for Jamaican dancehall.

Supa Dups is now a Grammy Award winning producer for his work with Eminem and was nominated for another Grammy with Bruno Mars. He has also done work for the likes of Sean Paul, Rihanna, Snoop Lion, Mary J Blige Drake Tyga and Estelle to name a few.
