20th Anniversary of Toronto's Bob Marley Birthday Tribute at Lee's Palace

Torontos iconic Bob Marley Birthday Tribute returns for its 20th anniversary, celebrating the enduring legacy of the King of Reggae, Jamaican culture, and the citys vibrant reggae community. Taking place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Lees Palace (529 Bloor St. W.), the event runs from 8:00 PM until late and promises a powerful night of music, culture, and community.

Torontos longest-running Bob Marley tribute, this annual celebration brings together top-tier local reggae talent and selectors for an immersive, high-energy experience. The 20th anniversary edition features a live performance by 11 pc band Reggaddiction, with guest performances by Friendlyness (of The Human Rights band) and Juno Awardwinning artist Kairo McLean, alongside special guest appearances.

Pressure Drop and Bless Up Selectas on the earth-shaking 15,000-watt Bless Up Soundsystem, with hosting duties by Kwasi Da Food God Douglas.

Beyond the music, the event continues its long-standing tradition of giving back to the community. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations in support of the Parkdale Community Food Bank. The evening will also feature prize giveaways and a vibrant craft market, further reinforcing the events community-focused spirit.

Over the past two decades, this event has proudly showcased an incredible roster of Toronto reggae talent, including Kairo McLean, Kirk Diamond, Humble, Treson, The Resinators (ft. Raffa Dean), Dream Band, The Human Rights, Messenjah, Kidd Rasta & The Peace Makers, Feeling the One Drop, Chronicles Dub Trio, House of David Gang, Ammoye, Elaine Lil Bit Shepherd, Lyndon John X, Chester Miller, Michael Garrick, Papa Levy, RaLion, Carol Brown, Progress, and many morealong with leading DJs such as DJ Shai, DJ Quesquecest, DJ Chocolate, Big Toes HiFi, Patrick Roots, Pressure Drop, DJ Friendlyness, Mista Jiggz, and No Wahala DJs.

This event has been built with a clear focus on uplifting and spotlighting Torontos downtown reggae community.
