Singles Event: BLACK WOMEN & THE MEN WHO LOVE THEM (Ages 20's,30's,40's)

AN ALTERNATIVE TO SPEED DATING! This singles speed mixer will combine the elements of speed dating and also a social mixer. This event is open to women who identify as Black and men of any racial identity.

We will have an icebreaker activity, game and lots of time for mingling. Attendees will have 7 minutes to chat with anyone of their choice and at the sound of the bell will select another person to chat with. We will repeat this several times and then we will stop for a game and then continue mingling with drinks, and you are welcome to stay and order food after the event. It is better than speed dating as you are not obligated to sit and speak with all attendees!

No need to be nervous, just remember that everyone is in the same boat. Let's get off those apps and try something different! All within an atmosphere that has low volume music where you can hear each other speak! All you have to do is show up and just start talking to anyone even someone of the same gender! Come with an open mind and positive outlook. Every effort will be made to keep the gender ratio balanced, however no guarantees can be made.

TICKET INCLUDES A BEVERAGE .

Attendees are encouraged to initiate exchanging contacts at the event. (If you are asked for your contact information but do not feel a romantic vibe with the person, you can always let them know that you would be happy to exchange contacts but that you feel more of a friendship vibe). If you want to be connected with someone but are not sure if they are interested, feel free to send us an email after the event we will try to play matchmaker after the event is over! Make sure to pay attention to attendees names! Men typically initiate this.

Dress to impress!

The event will start promptly so please arrive early. Parking can be found in the blue parking lot underground. Registration and the event will be at the back where the large tv screens are.

Spots are limited. In an attempt to balance the male-female ratio, only limited tickets (for $45 cash, no drink included) MAY be available at the door, please send an email or direct message to ask about availability prior to the event. (If the gender ratio is very unbalanced, the event will be postponed. Please check your email the day before the event for any update)
